It all started with a simple question we kept hearing: “What should I wear?”

We began as two friends helping people feel good in their clothes — and it turned into a shared mission to make getting dressed easier, more personal, and a lot more fun.

Cotty grew up in Ohio with a natural eye for creativity and a passion for style. He studied Fashion Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, honing his skills in craftsmanship, garment construction, and fit. Those same skills — along with his easygoing nature — made him a trusted consultant for brands like Magaschoni, Elie Tahari, and FILA. In 2013, he launched Cotty Taplin Styling after helping friends and family navigate their wardrobes, quickly building a devoted community of happy clients.

As a global citizen, Heidi’s love for all things design and style started early. After years in the industry, she began styling her curvy friends and noticed a gap in the market. That spark led her to create Coverstory, one of the early size-inclusive style destinations — hailed as “trailblazing” and “ground-breaking” by publications like Vogue Italia, Nylon, i-D, and Who What Wear.

Now, at C+H Sartorial, your NYC-based stylist team, brings experience, creativity, and a little humor to help people look and feel their absolute best. Style shouldn’t be complicated. It should just feel like you.
